Purpose / Proposito y Objetivo¶

This study aims to evaluate whether AI-based hand pose estimation models can recognize clinically relevant grasp types from images and video. Your participation involves performing specific hand grasps on objects while being recorded by a camera.

Este estudio busca evaluar si modelos de estimacion de pose de manos basados en IA pueden reconocer tipos de agarre clinicamente relevantes a partir de imagenes y video. Su participacion consiste en realizar agarres especificos de objetos mientras es grabado por una camara.

Data Usage / Uso de Datos¶

Only your hands will be recorded. No face or identifying features will be captured.
Images/video will be stored with an anonymous participant ID (e.g., P001).
Data will be used exclusively for this research project.
Data will not be published or shared outside the research team without additional consent.
Raw data is stored in a secure, access-controlled location.

Solo se grabaran sus manos. No se capturaran rostro ni rasgos identificatorios. Las imagenes/video se almacenaran con un ID anonimo. Los datos se usaran exclusivamente para este proyecto de investigacion.

How Data Is Protected¶

Files are named with anonymous IDs, not personal names.
Consent records are stored separately from image data.
Access is restricted to authorized research team members.
Data may be deleted upon request (see Withdrawal below).

Withdrawal Right / Derecho de Retiro y Revocacion¶

You may withdraw from this study at any time without penalty. If you withdraw, all data collected from your sessions will be deleted upon request. To withdraw, contact the research team at the email provided below.

Puede retirarse de este estudio en cualquier momento sin penalidad. Si se retira, todos los datos recolectados de sus sesiones seran eliminados a pedido.

What You Will Do¶

You will be asked to perform specific hand grasps on everyday objects (bottle, pen, key, etc.).
Each grasp will be held for approximately 5-10 seconds while a camera records your hand.
A session typically lasts 15-30 minutes.
You may take breaks at any time.

Risks¶

This study poses minimal risk. You will only be asked to grasp common objects in natural positions.
